Primary Day Chalkings Spark Media Coverage

Yesterday’s NH state office primary for the republican and democrat contenders took place during what has been an unprecedentedly strange campaign season. I took about an hour garret_primarydaymonitor1of2out of my day to stop by the ward 5 polling location as well as the nearby ward 7 location. Chalking a few messages on the ground and recording some videos, the interest of nearby totem holders was piqued, leading to a conversation about what was going on that day.

Many thanks to Nick Reid of the Concord Monitor and Tony Schinella of Concord Patch who both shared photos of the chalking, as well as a detailed write-up of some of the motivations of the chalking in the Monitor’s online edition. Video of the days interactions is available at the FreeConcordRaw youtube channel.
